Before you, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars - points of light and reason. And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, when the meteor had fallen over horizon, everything went black. Nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by the light. I couldn't see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything.

it has been a rainy afternoon on a Tuesday..


okay.. that sounds like i'm going to write a LONG story.. but i guess i don't bored people to sleep with my entries.. haha!!

it's been a long time since i last wrote something in this space.. so i try to make everything short and sweet..


WORK
everything has been a very BIG mess since the retrenchment exercise.. the last time that i wrote in this space, i said that i took charge of one of the department, THE BUTCHERY*with music*(that's lame... -.-|||)

well, after a week or so, the head chef, who all of us refers as ANG MO because he is one, decided to close the butchery down.. so ya.. down it close.. and i was somehow being transferred to the COLD KITCHEN*with music*(-.-|||) Cold kitchen is where we normally make our appretizers like salads and stuff(more to the vegetable side)for functions and events.. so i was like fine to work there.. and during that time, as my attachment is coming to an end, naturally, it's time to clear my leaves slowly instead of clearing it one shot.. so as i was asking the chef-in-charge(He's a NATIONAL TEAM CHEF..... WHO CARES!!!) that is it possible to clear my leaves.. and all of you guess what was his response?? "Why do every trainees, upon coming to my department, starts to clear leaves? why don't they do it earlier?"(I'm just putting it nicely.. actually, it's much more louder..) then after that, i said "Okay.. never mind.." mother's day and church camp week - REJECTED!! so i was fine with it.. well.. after that, he was not in good term with me.. i'm okay with him.. just that HIS CHARACTER that i really hate.. sacastic, addition MEANINGS to his words.. to cut the story short, he told my head chef that he don't like me and wanted to transfer me OUT of his department.. and the head chef AGREED.. you may think that that's the end of me right?? WRONG!! i was tranferred back the BUTCHERY*with music* they reopen that department because they couldn't handle the meat and seafood stuff.. so head chef suggested that i go back there and get everything right again.. WHOO OH!! Sunday off.. with no face colour to see much.. who can ask for more?? even the head chef also said that i'm more happier in Butchery than Cold Kitchen.. haha!! PRAISE AND THANKG GOD!!! :D
and i may even have a job there after attachment.. :D


LESISURE
i think i have been watching quite a number of movies since i have a stable working timing and sunday offs.. and even starting to clear my leaves, starting from this week, on this very day! First day of the first 2 days of clearing leaves.. :D let me see.. what movies have i watched..

Handsome Suit!
it's a very cute show.. by wearing a suit, it can make you the most HANDSOME person in the world.. how i wish i have one of that.. but to think of it, i don't want that.. because character is MORE important.. that's what i feel.. haha!!

The Ramen Girl
another cute show that even an AMERICAN girl can master the art of cooking RAMEN from a JAPANESE chef, who has language barrier.. because cooking uses not only the right ingredients and methods and skills.. but also the heart and spirit..(REMEMBER THIS POINT, JOYCE!!! REMEMBER!!)

Confession Of A Shopaholic
nice movie that shows us why excessive shopping is BAD for you.. :P

Wolverine - X-men Origins
SUPER NICE MOVIE!!! COOL CLAWS!! now then i know about how Wolverine lost his memories.. poor guy.. but in return, he has the BEST WEAPON.. he's the WEAPON X!!

and today - Night Of The Museum 2
very funny movie.. 2 monkeys this time.. with lots of history people.. haha!! I'm thinking.. I'm thinking.. I'm thinking.. I'm thinking.....

and now, i'm at Library @ Esplanade, writing this long and winding entry.. enjoying my afternoon..

the library at the Esplanade has been my best place to hang out.. as in a quiet place.. peace and quiet.. the times that i studied and worked for my WINE project, with long, diffcult names of grapes to remember..(REMEMBER? :D) studying for tests and exams after Sunday's church service.. watching movies at a quiet corner of the library.. or just sitting at the cafe, which is like now, just enjoying the music and.. just relax... and when i'm tired of the air con, i can go to the rooftop to admire the night lights at the business area and the sky.. the stars.. how i wish time don't pass.. haha!! i miss those days..
