i cannot believe myself..
i went all the way to Tanjong Pagar to buy muffins..
from school to Tanjong Pagar..
but to think of it..
it's worth it..
because..
THE MUFFINS ARE SUPER NICE~!!!
AND THEY SMELL VERY NICE TOO~!!
so i bought 5 in one shot..
to enjoy the wonderful taste of the muffins..

tomorrow will be the practical test 9..
of how to make salads and presenting salads..
it's not going to be easy to present salads..
to make it appealing..
you have to include colour..
taste..
"height" of the salad..
and the combination..
so there's a lot of factors to consider..
hope that i will do well..

please pray for me..

Monday(27/08/2007)

today was a very messy day..
practical we were doing some egg noodles..
making dough to make them..
so in the process of making the dough..
we just mess fun of whatever we have..
flour..
dough..
and made a mess out..
haha..
but that was the only time we can do that..
because making egg noodles is NOT tested..
so sad..
haiz..
then after making the noodles..
we cooked it as a pasta..
so it tasted a bit funny..
but still nice..
not bad for the future chefs..
haha..

we learnt that we were going to make salads..
our lecturer showed the methods to us..
and that we have to make them the next practical lesson..

i got back my test results..
and guess what..
i topped the class for one paper..
being the second for the second paper..
and did quite well for the third paper..
Praise and Thank God~~!!!
thank God for His wisdom..

today..
practical was to make salads..
waldorf salad(apple salad)
tuna salad
simple green salad
warm chicken salad
to think of it..
it may sound easy to make.
but to put the element of presentation..
colour..
the "tallness" of the presentation
the taste..
it's not easy at all..
the whole group just failed the presentation part..
a bit dismoralising..
but it's true..
we just need some creativity..
to pass the test..
the presentation part..




sometimes..
injury tells a lot of things..
when God lets somethings to happen..
like injuries..
He's asking you to take a break..
and sometimes if you don't rest..
He may do something damaging for a long time..
that's to me..


please..
rest yourself..
know that you want to improve..
but that's not the way..

supposed to go to school for lessons..

but because my gum is freaking in pain..
so decided not to go but to go see a dentist..

and guess what..

as what i thought..
it's wisdom tooth..

and having wisdom tooth doesn't mean that i have brain..

and i know i don't have..

haha..

got a day MC..

booked an appointment on the 13 of September..

to get referrer letter..

ya..
but now feeling better..
not that swollen already..
today was the semi finals of the Evangel Basketball League..
i want to thank God for your encouraging words last week..
if not i won't be able to play with a calm mind today..
i feel that i have played a good game..
that i managed to keep myself cool and calm..
and that i didn't argued with the ref so much about the fouls..
and that i can play with the team..
and less of my individualistism..
i have come up with a equation..
less individualistism = more team play = everybody happy
i was able to look around the court to find my teammates..
whenever i was heading towards with the ball..
because i finally..
and i say..
FINALLY!!!
... realised that i cannot be always be solo in the team..
and that we need teamwork to win..
so i passed..
i passed the ball instead of going in myself..
i felt good..
they felt good..
very nice!
and also..
for the first time in Region A..
WE ARE IN THE FINALS!!!
never are we in the finals before..
or should i say..
never did we win any basketball match before..
but this year is totally different..
FINALS!!
WHOA-OH!!!
have to play hard next week..
Region B..
Region A is NOT GOING TO GIVE UP SO EASILY..

today was the 7th practical test..
and a very tasty one too..
because we were tested on how to cook:
Roasted Chicken
Baked Potatoes
Pan Fried Steak
Sauted Chicken
Deep Fry French Fries
will be putting up the pictures..
letting you all admire..

Wednesday(22/08/2007)
today learnt how to make mayonnaise..
never know that inside mayonnaise..
there is mustard..
and that they use egg yolks instead of egg whites..
and the process of making it is very tough..
as in physically tough..
we have to whisk the egg yolks until they are creamy and look like mayonnaise..
30 mintues of whisking..
30 minutes of torture..
but a priceless experience..
and loadful of enjoyment..
it's like everyone was like complaining that their arm is tired..
this and that..
but we were like laughing all the way..
it's also the most easiest practical that we ever had..
ended school at 6..
so still can do some shopping to get things to make something for someone..
so i'm not late for G12 on that night..


the kids in my G12 were so sad..
because Tao Liang just unleashed the things for them to do for..
"Peter, Pink And Pizza"
they were to study for 1st and 2nd Peter..
and they were having a quiz for them only..
then they were like "huh....."
so cute of them to say that..

today class was okay..
can say a short day..
and my class tutor was like so nice lah..
just a remark from me saying that i was going to watch a movie..
and the thing you know..
he tried to push everything forward so that we can go off early..
so nice..


then watched "Hairspray"
didn't know what the story line about in the first place..
then i realised that there was this programme in the movie..
that promotes hairspray..
and John Travor is so gay..
haha..
er xin lor..
haha..
the show is like a musical..
hmmm..
shall not say anymore about the movie..
to prevent people saying that i tell them everything..

just sucks..
today is my 8th practical test..
and even before i can finish making Vinaigrette for salads..
i got cut on my middle finger..
and the next time i know..
blood flows...
and lecturer ask me to go home and see doctor..
haiz..
just pissed with myself just now..







what's the problem with you people out there?
can't you all just MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!!!!
what's wrong with going out?
do you all have freaking a lot of time to spare??
if you all do, then..
GET A LIFE!!!!

i had a practical test again..
test on how to cook:
poached fish..
steamed fish..
stewed chicken..
braised beef..
it's like fighting a war in the kitchen..
my whole cap is like super wet lor..
dripping with water..
but i can say..
this test..
i did better..
i have the confidence..

and as usual..
i was late for G12..
but thank God..
it's only the church prayer requests section..
so didn't miss the message..
and then after that..
the G12 tasted the the food..
they said it was nice..
so ya..
i was happy...

thursday 16/08/2007~~
i learnt how to cook:
chicken breast coated with egg and cheese..
deep fry fresh fish finger..
sauted chicken..
it tasted not bad..
because it's the lecturer who cooks..
of course nice..









and i see a ugly side of people..
the people who were sitting beside me..
they were as if they had not eat for a few million years..
they were like eating so much..
it's supposed to be shared among the class..
so that we wil know the test..
but somehow..
they just eat and were asking for more..

friday 17/08/2007~~
i was feeling super down..
don't know why..
and it's like raining cats and dogs..
practical for the first time..
only a handful of people..
the rest of the class is either stuck in the rain or didn't come..

and i was early for Hearts On Fire again..
thank God..
the message was good..
and after then was the mini quiz..
i felt so bad..
that i "helped" Region A to lose 5000 points..
sorry..
trying to help..
just somehow forget..

saturday 18/08/2007~~
it was a bad day..
played badly for the basketball league..
and in the end..
we lost..
in second place..
but at least we are at second place..
so not bad..

i cannot seen to control my emotion in the court..
just feeling very disappointed with myself..
i know that you're disappointed with me too..
it's like i'm having a split personality in and out of court..
but i will never give up..
never give up on learning how to control..
and become a better player..

the sun on friday was groomy..
covered by the mist and fog..
and it had lost its ability to shine..
just like the weather..
but today..
the heavy rain has already cleared the fog and mist..
although the sun only started to shine in the evening..
when the sun is setting..
the stars around the sun must be very happy..
very happy that the sun is shine once again..
so that they receive the sunshine from them..
hope that they will be enjoying the sunlight..
hope that the sun can continue to shine forever..

i should not think about the tests that have already passed..
because by thinking of them..
makes me say not very nice things..
things that people don't really like to hear..
since the school had such a system that don't allow their students..
to know their results..
then so be it..
why keep on be so bothered by how well the test went..
whatever is passed IS ALREADY PASSED!!!
why keep on think about it..
what you said is right..
since i won't know the result..
then treat it as i have failed the test..
then for the next test..
work harder..
and other people also said..
since they have this kind of system..
then you have to get used to it and stop thinking about it..
being bothered by this is not going to get me anywhere far..

Friday:
first lesson of the day..
PRACTICAL..
and guess what..
it's PRACTICAL TEST!
the funny thing was that i wasn't able to focus on the test..
even before the test..
i was like trying to focus on the test..
on the things that i'm supposed to cook..
but it seems like i wasn't able to do it..
then the test came..
i was like stoning in the kitchen..
figuring what and how i'm supposed to do the dishes..
i just cannot do the dishes..
the taste was off..
the outcome of the dishes was bad..
i don't know..
for the first time..
i was like lost confidence in my own cooking..
lost my touch in cooking..
the tasing touch..
the skill touch..
just lost it like that..
hope it will come back..
because next Wednesday..
will be the next PRACTICAL test..
which is more difficult..
please pray for me..

Saturday:
school day as usual..
thank GOD that the last period's lecturer ended the class early..
like at 2.45?
because the whole class is getting very restless..
haha..
then kinda of lazy..
so took cab down to SCGS..
for Hearts.Sport..

it was the first match of the basketball league..
Region A vs Region D
i was like very relieved that i saw one unchurched in the Sharks' team..
but just as the match was starting..
2 more unchurched came to the court..
i was like sian diao..
but thank GOD that they didn't start..
one more problem..
i was like having jelly legs..
even before the match starts..
it's like i have not been playing basketball for 2 months..
and now going to play full court basketball..
it's like going to kill me..

so the match starts..
everything went well..
at one point..
Region A was leading for 22 points..
and in the end..
we won the match~!
the first game in Region A's basketball career..
haha..
and also a perfect birthday present for Dixon..
who was having his birthday on the exact day..
he was like asking for a victory for him..
and he got it..

but he commended that..
i played very badly..
that i played very selfishly..
it's true..
i admitted it..
i totally agreed with him..
that's the very problem that i face everytime..
he also said that i have the mentality of Shohoku's Lui Chuan Feng..
but the skill of Ying Mu Hua Dao..
which i agree too..
it's like i have the problem of bringing the ball up and score by myself..
which i was trying very hard to change..
very very hard..
please pray for me too..
for those who don't know who are the 2 players i mentioned..
they are the characters from the cartoon "Slam Dunk"
number 10 and 11

too bad..
you was not there to watch..
i know you have your own game..
